The whole sordid affair ocured on the evening of Friday 6th June 1997. Paul Marshall and some friends went out on the Hazel Grove golden mile pub crawl (a total of twelve pubs) to celebrate his 19th birthday. Needless to say much ale was consumed and a great time was had by all. They all made their way to the house of one of the group, a certain Miss Calverly. The one known as Acid was let loose outside the Ring O Bells public house and he procceded home of his own accord. The rest of the party settled into the living room of the Calverly residence for some light conversation. It was around this time that Paul went upstairs. He was gone for quite a while so a exploration team was sent off to find him. He was found, in the bathroom, sitting in the bath, without his top on. The one known as Alex ‘I’m a Doctor’ decided that as Paul was in no condition to defend himself, he should draw all the muscle groups upon Paul’s bare torso (Alex profess to be a Med. student). Fortuantely for Paul he wasn’t the only one under the influence, so he got away with only a couple of groups being drawn. He was then left to it, sitting in the bath with black marker pen all over him.
Later, in the early hours of Saturday morning Ma Calverly came down stairs with a look of shock upon her face. She and her boyfriend then proceeded to explain. Apparantly Paul had stripped naked in the bathroom. he had then gone into their bedroom with nothing but a handtowel to cover himself and told them that he was about to have a bath. He then dropped the towel and headed to the bathroom where he was found in the bath with the water running.
Since then, he has been known as FLASH.
